A quarter-century of keeping our word.

Dhanachakra began in 1997 with a simple promise to the people of Idukki: honest gold loans, close to home. Nearly three decades on, that promise still runs the business.

The mission

"To make the lives of all people better and easier — by turning the gold they already own into funds they can trust."

What started as a leasing and hire-purchase company in the high ranges of Idukki grew into a fifteen-branch NBFC built around one product done exceptionally well: the gold loan. Through it all, we've stayed a local institution at heart — one where the manager knows your name and the terms are written to be understood.

The network extends into Kottayam and Ernakulam, bringing the same straight-dealing counter to central Kerala.
